| Festival Description | The Roots and Blues Festival has gained a solid reputation for its top quality presentations and organization. The Roots & Blues Festival is not only the largest and most diverse festival in B.C.’s Interior, but is recognized as the largest multicultural events of its kind in the Interior of British Columbia with over 60 acts performing over 7 outdoor stages during a three-day period. Performers are from across Canada and around the world, representing every genre of music from as many different cultures. Many of them perform together on the daytime stages, combining cultures and musical styles to present the most unique groupings of musicians and musical exchanges imaginable. The Festival includes crafts, food, beer gardens and a children's area. |
