| Festival Description | The one day festival of culture features a focus on environmentalism, ecology and the arts. The events take place at Azadi Park in As-Sulaymaniyah (Sulaimani), Iraq. Exhibitions, performances and educational events are included in the festival that celebrated its inaugural edition in 2012. The family-friendly events also include face painting for children and children’s activities that include games. There are also films and non-governmental organizations that promote ecology and green initiatives as well as animal rights. |
