| Festival Description | The “Dance Grand Prix Italia” hosts about 1100 dancers from the five continents dance and compete. The main focus of the dance festival will include Classical, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Funky, Folk and all of the various interpretations of Dance Theatre Laboratories. Theatre space is given to Schools and Dance Departements where students and guest artists dispay one or more pieces of a performance or a review. The Opening Ceremony features festival participants and the great international guests who perform that evening for notable experts from the world of culture and show business and press and media representatives. The festival international jury awards and presents the Award Career Prize to an outstanding figure in international dance. This festival organizes the “Barcelona Costa Brava International Dance Competition”, in conjunction with this festival in Italy and alternately France. Venues:
- “Dance Grand Prix Italia” has multiple venues that are chosen based accordingly with the artistic requirements of the participating dance groups. Generally the participants taking part range between 1000 and 1600 individuals and we have various Theaters at our disposal. The most appropriate Theater will be selected for the participants after the registration has been completed by all the participating groups.
