The Childrens’ Theatre Festival is the largest annual children’s theatre festival in Denmark. Since 1971 the events have been free of charge and open to all who are interested in childens’ theatre. Each year the festival takes place in different city within the country and draws more than 100 professional theatres for children and young adults from throughout Denmark. The events encompass over 150 different theatre productions during the week. In all, the festival produces over 450 performances from Thursday to Sunday.
