| Festival Description | The Summer Dream Pier International Puppetry Festival was inaugurated in 1989. It offers a review of the season’s Slovene puppet creativeness alongside many foreign performances for children and adults. The Festival takes place in the Atrium and Knights’ Hall of Maribor Castle, on Grajski trg (Castle square), in Maribor Puppet Theatre, and in Narodni dom. Previous festivals have included performers from Slovenia, China, Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, the United Kingdom, Poland and Bulgaria. |
