| Festival Description | The annual Burnaby Blues and Roots Festival is hosted by the city of Burnaby, in association with Coastal Jazz & Blues Society in Deer Lake Park. Thousands of music fans enjoy extraordinary blues and roots artists as they perform over nine hours of continuous music at one of the most breathtaking locations in British Columbia. The site features interactive activities for the youngsters, a delectable variety of foods and a beer garden. In previous festival performers have included— internationally acclaimed artists such as the Neville Brothers, Johnny Clegg Band, Wailin Jennys, Lhasa and more. |
