| Festival Description | The International Theatre Festival Homo Alibi each year selects a theme by which the programming revolves. In 2012 the theme is: recycled in Riga. As the title suggests, this 7th edition is dedicated to the notion of recycling in arts and the festival performances will bring attention to both material and immaterial forms of reusing and recycling. The festival will during five days take over the grand building of the former Tobacco factory in one of the most vibrant streets of Riga — Miera iela, and will offer performances by international and local artists, installations, workshops and a three day symposium on alternative scenarios in art, ecology and economy. |
