Festival Description

Each year the program includes well-known classic theatre pieces such as Strawinsky:s “The Firebird”, Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville”, Gluck’s “Orpheus and Euridyce” and Prokofieff’s “Peter and the Wolf”. Music plays a central role in more than half of the productions. The organizers once again expect to play host to some 4,000 guests. Performers from all over the world will get together in order to study the expertise of contemporary shadow theatre and to discuss in the “Shadow Café” what they have experienced. The special atmosphere generated at this festival is now legendary.
