| Festival Description | Lókal - International Theater Festival presents international avant-garde theater artists from Iceland, Europe and the US. The festival brings together original and experimental theatre with some of the best known artists in the field taking part. Six shows will be staged—including three foreign and three Icelandic works. Lókal provides a venue for artists, art directors and audience members to share in an experience of cutting-edge theater and movement exhibitin the latest trends the world over. The festival serves to bring cultures together to engender collaboration and sharing among the artists and directors. |
