| Festival Description | The great ancient tragedian is the namesake of the Aeschylia Festival that is held in the city of Elefsina. For over 30 years, the city of Elefsina has honoed its cultural heritage and the great tragedian Aeschylus who was born there, by organizing the Festival “Aeschylia” every September. Τhe Festival includes theatre performances, concerts, exhibitions and various other events. This year, the program includes 14 events—the first one is the daily conference “Chorus in Ancient Drama.” |
