| Festival Description | The Fringe Theatre Festival is an extravaganza of new plays, old plays, dance, music, mime, street entertainment and much, much, more! The Fringe heralds over 1,200 performances of 140 productions on 30 stages, in the parks and on the streets—with 1,000 performing artists from around the world. Held in the historic Old Strathcona district this annual festival is regarded as the largest and most exciting alternative theatre festival in North America. Advance tickets go on sale one week before the Festival starts. Tickets are available from the Fringe Festival Box Office until the day before a given performance. Tickets can be picked up on site from the Information and Advance Ticket Pick Up Booth in the lobby of the Trans Alta Arts Barns, beside the Fringe Festival Box Office. |
