| Festival Description | A free, two-day event—the festival celebrates a great mix of music and culture that brings thousands of friends and families together each year. Held every first weekend in August at Frontier Park, the Erie Art Museum Blues & Jazz Festival features several performances by local, national and international acts. A mainstay of Erie for over ten years, the festival always opens with a children’s performance at noon on Saturday. Included in the festivities are arboretum tours of the park, children’s activities, and, as always, great food by local vendors. Organized by the Erie Art Museum, the Blues & Jazz Festival is made possible through generous contributions by sponsors and granting agencies and by the dedication and hard work from hundreds of volunteers each year. |
