| Festival Description | The August West festival takes place at the beautiful Jay Peak Resort in Jay, Vermont. The organizers have put together a show that captures the whole “Grateful Dead experience”, although attendees need not be a Dead-Head fan per se. The headliner Rick Reddington, will be featured along with other bands at this year’s festival. Ben & Jerry’s will offer free ice cream and the opporunity to make your own one-of-a-kind tie-dyed tee shirt are just a couple of perks offered by the festival. Admission to the festival is free, and it kicks off at noon in the field in front of The Lodge at Jay Peak. |
