| Festival Description | Birr Vintage Week & Arts Festival is a celebration of Irish entertainment which includes an Olde Time Fair; a Sunday Parade — vintage cars, engines, floats, horses and carriages, marching bands, jugglers and clowns; street theatre; an extensive exhibition trail, an antique and fine arts fair, costume competitions; Old style shopwindows; candle-lit nights in local pubs; historical walking tours; film nights and live theatre; Flying Club’s Fly-in; free daily children’s events; vintage and modern sports events; photography competition; pub competitions and Donkey Derby; Camcor Capers park games; Live music; spectacular fireworks display. |
