Festival Description	In the summer of 1998 champions of the idea to popularize Bulgarian folklore together with connoisseurs of the international folklore traditions united their efforts to set up a new cultural forum - an annual International Folklore Festival taking place in the Old Bulgarian capital of Veliko Tarnovo and the surrounding area. The Festival is said to be one of the biggest international folklore forums in the Balkans. It is a huge national event with world fame and a unique atmosphere.
