| Festival Description | The “One Nation, One Culture” cultural festival in Armenia takes place every two years since 1999. Armenian cultural groups from different countries of the World are invited to the Festival and over approximately seven days present their culture in the Homeland. The Festival participants cover their own transportation and accomodation expenses in Yerevan—the other costs, associated with the Festival, are covered by the Festival organizers. The Festival program includes a diverse genre of music, dance, and drama, and may also include puppetry, circus, outdoor fetes and performances, visual arts, cinema, literature and poetry. Each year the program is based upon the participating artists and companies and what they bring to the rich culture of Armenia. |
