| Festival Description | The International Theatre Festival “Belaya Vezha” (White Tower) is a forum where theatre groups from all over the world can come together and by means of theatrical art examine their perceptions of universal themes, stimulate social dialogue, deepen human connections and foster greater understanding between individuals and cultures. Over its 15 year history the Festival has become a vital showcase for national arts and international arts and is now firmly established as Belarussian leading theatre festival. The Festival collaborates with artists and companies from 46 countries of the world who have already participated in the Forum. Hundreds of writers, artists, performers and musicians creating theatre, spectacle, street art, puppet and dance show, music, comedy, literature come to Brest to produce a stunning week of cultural activity and celebration. The Festival accepts submissions in all genres: any sort of stage play, new or classic, puppet performances for children and adults, open-air performances and shows, plastic dramatic art and modern choreography. The Festival also hosts a series of visual art exhibitions, talks and workshops. |

The Ocean Group has been working for the promotion of Indian heritage and culture for the last fifteen years. The members are well educated and experienced individuals within this organization. Formerly known as SANKALP the name has been changed to OCEAN “an excellent group of art”. Under the new title the organization functions as a professional group to promote the Indian culture and to take part in social activities as well. They are involved in the entertainment of people through stage shows — dance, singing, drama, comedy and various other activities. The organization’s aim is to facilitate a communion of cultures and a creative dialogue with other nations. To facilitate this interaction with world cultures, the organization has strived to articulate and demonstrate the diversity and richness of the cultures of India, both in and with other countries of the world. The OCEAN Group prides itself on being the pre-eminent instrument of cultural diplomacy and the sponsor of intellectual exchanges between India and other countries. It is the organization’s resolve to continue to symbolize India’s great cultural and educational growth in the years to come.
