• OCEAN “an excellent group of art”
  The Ocean Group has been working for the promotion of Indian heritage and culture for the last fifteen years. The members are well educated and experienced individuals within this organization. Formerly known as SANKALP the name has been changed to OCEAN “an excellent group of art”. Under the new title the organization functions as a professional group to promote the Indian culture and to take part in social activities as well. They are involved in the entertainment of people through stage shows — dance, singing, drama, comedy and various other activities. The organization’s aim is to facilitate a communion of cultures and a creative dialogue with other nations. To facilitate this interaction with world cultures, the organization has strived to articulate and demonstrate the diversity and richness of the cultures of India, both in and with other countries of the world. The OCEAN Group prides itself on being the pre-eminent instrument of cultural diplomacy and the sponsor of intellectual exchanges between India and other countries. It is the organization’s resolve to continue to symbolize India’s great cultural and educational growth in the years to come. Now in process of spreading the culture all over world organization decide to make relation with the cultural organization and societies those working to introduce the culture to another.

• The Festival Program of 2010 consists of two streams:
  
  • Competitive program
    performances of all genres based on A.Chekhov’s works
    national and international dramatic art
    experimental drama
    puppet performances
    open-air performances
    plastic dramatic art and modern choreography
• Guest program
  
  • youth (student’s) theatre
    guest performances
• Jury
  
  • The international jury of professional theatre experts, critics and directors will award the winners of the Festival in the following nominations:
• Grand Prix of the Festival
  
  • The Best Performance of the Festival (3 Diplomas)
  • The Best Work (according to theatrical professions)
• Organizational and Financial Terms
  
  • Application forms for the 2010 “Belaya Vezha” International Theatre Festival will be available online at http://www.bresttheatre.info/first/whitetoweren/ beginning late November, 2009.
  • The Organizing Committee guarantees accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, free access to all festival events. Other organizational and financial terms are to be discussed with each group individually.
