| Festival Description | The Festival is held on odd years in a small Moldovan town of Cahul. At prezent, this location is transforming into a place of meetings for folklore singers and dancers, and handicraft makers from many countries of the world. Folklore provides an endless spring that fuels the culture of all peoples. With this in mind, the organizers want the culture of different peoples to be represented at the Festival “Nufărul alb”. The Festival is a member of the International Federation of Folklore Festivals (C.I. O. F. F.). Organizers invite troupes that interpret rehabilitated or styled folklore from the countries that are represented. |
