| Festival Description | Over 16 days the Poorvottar Natya Samaroah will present 28 different plays that are staged in collaboration with the National School of Drama, and the Director of Cultural Affairs in Assam. Theatre groups from Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Sikkim, Meghalaya and Assam will take part. The festival is intended to showcase the talented young and emerging directors of the North East. |
