Festival Description

The city of Trujillo hosts the National Wind Festival, a contest that is held October in the Municipal Theater. During the contest the public will be able to listen to all types of wind instruments, such as—clarinete, saxo, flauta traversa, flauta sweet, corno, trombón, tuba, trompeta, among others. The event is organized by the Regional Conservatory of Music of the North “Carlos Valderrama” and the American Peruvian Center “the Cultural one”.
