In addition, there will also be workshops such as Celtic Backup Guitar, Picking Jigs and Reels on Guitar, Hammered Dulcimer, Intro to Whistles and Flutes, and Morris Dancing for Kids. Plus an Irish session, open to all — bring your instruments and join in!. Presented by the Hobgoblin Music Center, the Celtic Edge festival starts at 12:00 noon and goes to 8:00pm. Food and craft vendors will round out the festival experience. The Stoney End amphitheater venue is one of the premier outdoor music grounds for music in the whole SE Minnesota area. Nestled into a wooded valley, the sound is superb. Please bring lawn chairs for your comfort. The festival is sponsored by the Hobgoblin Music Center and Music Loft with support from the Minnesota Folk Arts Alliance, a non-profit organization. |
