| Festival Description | Words and Music in Kajaani celebrated its inaugural edition in 1976. The spirit of the event was created by founder member Veikko Sinisalo, whose burning enthusiasm for the literary arts carried these unique celebrations through the decades that followed. Words and Music in Kajaani is nowadays Finland’s largest annual literary happening. |
