Since 2001 Drama and Puppet Theatre “Konstantine Velichkov” in collaboration with the Municipality of Pazardjik has organized annual international festivals: International Festival “Autumn Theatre Meetings ” and International Puppet Festival “The Yellow Parrot”. These cultural events are exiting meetings with the best achievements in theatrical life – productions, titles, actors, producers, unusual stagings and new phenomenons in the development of Bulgarian and international theatre. The idea of the festivals is to create in Pazardjik a new cultural space, to provoke the searching of new ways and forms of theatrical realization.
