Only foreign participants take part in the competition. According to director of the Foundation, during three days of the festival singers from Kazakhstan, Russia, Germany, Poland, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan will give their performances. The contestans sing the Kazakh songs in their own languages, bringing in the elements of their own national traditions and styles. The participants when translating the songs into their languages very meticulously arrange them to give them new and individual sound. Alongside the performances of the contestants, Kazakh young performers sing songs—making this cultural exchange complete. The event is organized by akimat of Astana city and Foundation of Art Song Dominanta (Dominance).
