The International Festival of the Theatres without Border (FITSAF) was created in 1993 in the commune of Yopougon, one of the hot districts of Abidjan. The FITSAF is a festival of theatre whose mission is that of peace and cultural development through contribututions of theatre. Five editions of the FITSAF have already been organized with the participation more than 40 theatre companies of 12 countries of Africa, Europe and Asia. The FITSAF is organized by l’association Entrepreneurs Culturels Associés de Côte d’Ivoire. Its objective is to take part in the cultural life of the Côte d’ivoire and to contribute to the circulation of artists and their works in Africa and in the world.
