| Festival Description | The Festival Suburbs Rate/Rhythm begins with workshops of musical creations followed by concerts and a carnival for its 6th edition. Artists come from the Islands of the Green Cape, the Côte d’ivoire, of Burkina Faso, Guinea Conakry, RDC, from France and Senegal to offer moments of exceptional music and dance. |

Festival Story:
Since its creation, 6 years ago, the festival pursues its goal of creating an intercultural space for artistic meetings and expression. The event promotes the engagement and interaction of young artists to build a community of cross-cultural ties. The Festival Suburbs Rate/Rhythm offers to the town of Guédiawaye the experience of acting as a host and a meeting place where creative geniuses exchange ideas. The artists’ desire to share with each other enables closes the barriers between cultures.
