| Festival Description | Fêt’arts—its name a melding of the French words for “party” and “art,” embodies these two concepts in the deep connections it draws between festivals and art forms. It also connects often distinctly different art forms with each other, boasting theater, music, dance, and traditional creative arts. Ultimately, the festival’s goal is to foster among Africans a sense of pride in the richness of their culture, and to participate directly in its support and further enrichment. |
