| Festival Description | The biennial festival brings world-famous playwrights and their newest works to the SFA campus for two staged readings of each of the included plays. During the 5-day festival, each of the three plays are presented two different times for an audience and its playwright in the Downstage Theater of the Griffith Fine Arts Building. The emphasis is on the author’s words—therefore students will use scripts, and the scenery, props and costumes are minimal. Due to adult language and themes, the plays are recommended for adult audiences only. |
