International Theatre Festival “Rainbow”
The International Theatre Festival “Rainbow” is held in Saint-Petersburg. Professional theatres for children and youth take part—including seven Russian groups and seven foreign. Particular attention is devoted to contemporary plays for teenagers and young people in dramatic theatre. The festival program includes seminars for the heads of the theatres, art directors and chief producers, pedagogues and playwriters. Festival “Rainbow” invites renowned theatre heads to participate in seminars.
All costs, connected with trip and accommodation in Saint-Petersburg during the days of the festival are covered by the Organization committee of the festival “Rainbow”. The performances, recognized as the best ones by the Jury of the Festival will be awarded. The winners in four nominationed categories are awarded cash prizes: The best performance for the main stage; The best performance of the small form; Best female part; Best male part.
