| Festival Description | The Festival de la Leyenda Vallenata is one of the most important music festivals in Colombia. Every year it is celebrated in April in the city of Valledupar, Department of Cesar. Its origin dates back to 1968 with the concept of organizing a festival that celebrated vallenato, a musical genre that is woven into the social fabric of Colombia’s northern Atlantic coast. |
