| Festival Description | The Kanilai international Cultural Festival hosts local and international participating groups for the festival as well as a competition. The inaugural festival’s vision in 2004 was to create an event for the uniting the people of Africa for regional and cultural developement. Participants include those from Mali, Guinea Bissua, Mauritania, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, South Africa, and Guinea Conakry. Renowned artists within the region include cultural actors and performers who are invited to participate in the show of African talent which is increasingly gaining popularity. |
