| Festival Description | Kayes is famous in Mali for its impressive array of waterfalls, and the festival Kayes capitalizes on this with its focus on environmental issues. Folklore aspects are woven into the performances, as is African jazz and art from the diaspora. In addition there is dancing, however traditional forms of movement like malinké, sarakolé, and others illuminate the stage. |
