| Festival Description | The Cultural Institute Providencia first organized this international jazz festival in 2002. The event gathers prominent foreign jazz musicians, such as the French violinist Jean Luc Ponty, the “queen” of Brazilian jazz, Leny Andrade and the master of Latin jazz, Poncho Sánchez. The festival takes place at the picturesque Parque de as Esculturas (Park of the Sculptures) in Providencia. The festival is supported by the Municipality of Providencia. |
