| Festival Description | Since 1989 the International Guitar Festival of Great Britain has taken place at Birkenhead Park in Wirral. The festival program includes concerts by an international line-up of Festival Ambassadors — who act as advocates for the festival as they tour the world in their own regard. They have included Woody Mann, John Williams, John Etheridge, Galina Vale, and Lucky Ranku. In addition to concerts the program also includes workshops, master classes. Many world-class guitarist will join the ranks to make Wirral the place to be for guitar aficionados. |
