| Festival Description | Gisborne has some wonderful things going for it—more than just happening to be the first city in the entire world to see the sunrise everyday. BW Campgrounds was born to help host the thousands of visitors venturing to the district for the Rhythm and Vines New Years Eve festival. BW began simply as one campground with a bit of a spin but has now grown into something much more than that. BW operates three camps that are now all within walking distance of each other and plans are to host over 8,000 people this season. The Festival encompasses everything that is a kiwi summer—first of all you have the epic road trip, then the great NZ music, surf, sunshine, beautiful beaches, camping, good company and lets not forget epic parties! Venue:
- All the major acts will be hosted in the outdoor theatre a.k.a. the Sound Shell adjacent to the main entrance of Awapuni camp. Entertainment will run from the 27th to the 30th with something chilled on the 1st. Of course on 31st we will all be gapping it to R&V for the night!!
