Festival Description

The 2010 May Festival, now the 137th year in the history of this monumental event, features works that represent pinnacles of choral literature from the 16th to 21st centuries, performed by vast choral and orchestral forces and an outstanding roster of soloists. Highlights include: Mozart C Minor Mass; St. Matthew Passion by J.S. Bach; Belshazzar’s Feast by William Walton; Chichester Psalms by Leonard Bernstein; Rachmaninoff’s opera Aleko.
