| Festival Description | The Folklore and Percussion Festival offers a diverse bill of cultural and artistic events for its visitors, all of which contribute to the village of Louga’s annual focus on Senegalese storytelling and traditional music. There is an artisans’ fair, an international colloquium on cultural diversity and globalization, gala evenings, percussion classes, and, to top it all off, a grand carnival replete with music, storytelling, and animals. |
