Festival Description

The port city of Hakodate’s long-awaited international festival is held around Motomachi Park and civic center. Festival-goers can enjoy international folk musicians and dancers. In addition to the main performances there are fringe events and workshops. The festival serves as venue for networking for future collaborations among the participants. The IOV JAPAN organizes the event along with the support and assistance of many volunteers.
