Territory is a teaching festival. We want to see our young people well educated, inquisitive, competent and open to the world, but we also want them to have first hand knowledge of the most interesting occurrences and tendencies in contemporary culture. The audience is made up of Muscovites, and acting students from the major Russian cities. Territory’s motto — “Art Today” honors experimental work especially by up-and-coming artists. In addition to the performances, the festival has organized screenings, lectures and a series of master classes for Russian students of theater schools, participants and guests — embracing everyone and welcoming active participation.
