| Festival Description | The Malta Council for Culture and the Arts (MCCA) presents a varied program of dance, drama and music in the festival calendar of events. Cultural events include an opera premiere, cutting edge contemporary dance, virtuoso classic concerts, experimental Maltese theatre, and a Maltese poetry recital accompanied by ethnic music along with the three-day jazz festival and the annual Shakespearean play. The festival runs from July to August and the main events are held at the Valletta Waterfront, St. James Cavalier Centre for Creativity, and University Campus. |
