| Festival Description | Since 1993, Orvieto has also hosted the winter edition of the famous jazz festival. Concerts are held in several of the city's historic buildings (Mancinelli Theater, the "Emilio Greco" Museum, Palazzo del Popolo and Palazzo dei Sette). Music is played around the clock and the festival also features a special celebration on New Year's Eve. The closing concert, which usually features a gospel choir, is held in Orvieto's famous Duomo and is a truly spectacular show. |
