| Festival Description | First held in 1973, the Umbria Jazz Summer has presented all of the greatest jazz musicians. An impressive collection of superstars from the worlds of pop, soul and, of course, jazz. The festival lasts for ten days and is held almost entirely in Perugia's historic district in ancient palaces, squares and parks. The program also encompasses a popular two week master jazz classes taught by professors from the Berklee School of Music in Boston. |
