Festival Alguer

The festival no longer takes place. Jazz, musicals, theatre and much more made up this summer-long festival, taking place at two of Alghero's historical venues—the Anfiteatro Maria Pia and the Forte della Maddalena—both in the heart of the city, right by the seaside. Organised by Sardegna Concerti, the festival brought top Italian and international artists to the stage. Musical guests included Subsonica, Francesco Renga, New York Jazz Voices and Diane Schuur, to name but a few. Modern and contemporary dance shows, theatre performances and concerts take place in the evenings.
