Festival Description

Tweetakt is an arts festival for children and youngsters that is always held in April, and alternates between Flanders (even years) and the Netherlands (odd years). Tweetakt targets everyone who is professionally involved in art for children and youngsters.
Organized by Festivalitis, Tweetakt Flanders is a six-day festival with 60 to 100 theatre productions, concerts, films, exhibitions and debates. The beating heart of the festival is HETPALEIS, but events also take place at numerous locations in Antwerp. During the festival the 1000Watt Prize for the best children’s and youth theatre performance is awarded.
