| Festival Description | Downtown Montpelier comes alive in the evening when The Montpelier Downtown Music Festival commences with family-friendly fare sponsored by The City of Montpelier, featuring clowns, street performance, puppetry and more, as well as performance art from central Vermont teens and acoustic busker style music sets. Local bars will open their beverage gardens serving up their famous and creative cocktail fare. Three Penny Taproom will host an authentic Oktoberfest Biergarden, featuring authentic German styles that are being served in Munich, Germany. Come early to experience the authentic flavors of a time-honored Bavarian tradition! (supplies are limited). The inclusion of this cultural element at this time of year is an extra special addition to the musical offerings. The musical offerings are going to be something quite special. |
