| Festival Description | The Upstage Festival is a curated cyberperformance event for online and live audiences that takes place in 10 countries. The performances are conducted by artists in nine different time zones. The work and performances will explore the concept of audience participation on a online venue format. Online audience members contribute text, images, sound, and videos. Due to the nature of the collaborative process each work will never be reproduced in the same way. Each venue around the world is also open to audiences for live performances as part of the festival. |
