| Festival Description | The Barbados Pan Festival/’Pan & de Cricket Legends in A’ celebrates its 9th anniversary on October 25th-27th 2007. The Festival will include a Steel Pan Symposium, a special reception and a concert “Pan & de Cricket Legends in A” at Herbert House in partnership with the Cricket Legend of Barbados. The Steel Pan Symposium (Pan in Education) will take the format of both presentation and interaction with the target audience: Steel Pan managers, players, turners, students and investors. The organizers expect that participants will take their interest in the steel pan and put it together with what they will learn at the an Symposium to empower themselves and gain a new sense of their own specials abilities, not only in playing but in managing themselves and their groups. The Barbados Pan Festival/ Pan & de Cricket Legends in A is designed to intensify the exposure of steel pan music in Barbados. |
