Festival Description

The International Street Theatre Festival Ghent proposes a qualitative programme of full-scale open-air theatre productions mounted by international companies. The organisers always look for performances that open new horizons within the genre and that guarantee a professional approach. The International Street Theatre Festival has produced several open-air performances and parades. ISTF is a founding member of Eunetstar (European Network Street Arts, http://www.eunetstar.org. Besides the International Street Theatre Festival Ghent, ISTF organizes a biannual International Open-Air Theatre festival in Leuven in June.
