The Beppu Argerich Music Festival, is organized under the direction of Martha Argerich, world-prominent pianist, and Kyoko Ito, the general producer and pianist. The Festival builds a future utilizing music as a means to create a new social environment full of humanity by promoting spiritual awareness of a society where children are nurtured. The Beppu Argerich Music Festival provides high-quality music to children—the driving force of the 21st century, and fosters young musicians by providing developmental opportunities including master classes. The Festival promotse education to cultivate children’s aesthetic sentiments, the Music Festival holds free concerts for children and their parents.
