| Festival Description | The festival will not take place in 2011. The Northeast Kingdom Music Festival is Vermont’s premier summer camping party, last year drawing over 1300 fans to the private and pastoral site that is the Chilly Ranch. The N.E.K. Fest is a family-friendly affair by day (kids under 12 are free), and an off the hook party by night. Under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Underage drinking laws will be strictly enforced and a safe environment kept by our professional security crew. |

Festival Story:
The Annual N.E.K. Music Festival takes place at The Chilly Ranch in East Albany, Vermont. Over the past several years, we have made great strides in getting greener, and lessening our impact on the environment.
As in the past, we will be partnering with local farmers to source the majority of our backstage catering with local produce. As always, we will provide our patrons with 100% pure deep well water from on site, free of charge, thereby reducing the use of plastic water bottles.
We care about the earth, our local community, and the environment. We seek to demonstrate that by running a festival that is as low impact as possible by reducing our waste and energy use, while still making sure we provide a weekend music and camping experience that is unsurpassed. Of course to that end we also have over 20 bands and other acts on two stages, kid’s activities, a fire sculpture burning opening ceremony Friday night, and much more!
